Nashville, Tennessee (October 1, 2021) – SS&E today announced a one-of-a-kind partnership with Austin Peay State University Athletics, which will see the division of Predators Holdings, LLC serve as an exclusive, premium third-party ticket and sponsorship sales agency for university sporting events organized by APSU. As part of this agreement, SS&E will assist with promotional and marketing plans to sell general admission tickets, premium experiences and referrals.

“From the very early stages of SS&E formation, our goal has been to pursue partnerships that will allow us to deliver our services in such a way that organizations and events across Middle Tennessee are able to elevate their skills. communities and promote economic development, just as the Predators, Bridgestone Arena and Ford Ice Centers have done in Greater Nashville, ”said Sean Henry, president and CEO of the Nashville Predators and SS&E. “Through this exciting partnership with Austin Peay State University Athletics, we are thrilled to contribute to the growth of not only Austin Peay as a force in the collegiate track space, but also the growth of Clarksville, Tenn., as a vibrant city with a thriving economy. “

SS&E, which was trained to seize operational and business opportunities outside the four walls of Bridgestone Arena, will manage sales efforts for APSU Governors Football, Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, Baseball and Softball games and other similar events. Additionally, SS&E will be responsible for premium sales or other customer experiences including, but not limited to suites, guest upgrades, parking, hospitality areas, seat activations and concession sales.

“Forging this partnership with SS&E is an exciting and innovative step for Austin Peay and his athletics department,” said Mike Licari, president of Austin Peay State University. “As this relationship grows and evolves, I believe we will improve our presence and market penetration, and increase the visibility of the Austin Peay brand. SS&E continues to be a great team to work with and I am especially proud of Gerald Harrison and his team for their leadership and vision and am delighted that Smashville is supporting Stacheville.

In addition to serving as the exclusive third-party ticket, bonus and sponsorship agency for APSU Athletics, SS&E will also be responsible for providing marketing and promotional support for these sales efforts. Promotional assets may include social media, website, email or other marketing advertisements and media placements.

“Today’s announcement is transformational for Austin Peay Athletics as we partner with Sabertooth Sports and Entertainment,” said Gerald Harrison, Austin Peay’s director of athletics. “This partnership represents a unique and progressive partnership between two great brands. It is an opportunity for our university and sports department to strengthen and develop our brand and to increase our sources of income and our corporate sponsorship. Sean Henry and The entire SS&E team are amazing at what they do, but beyond that, they are great people to work with as we build and grow this Smashville-Stacheville partnership. ”

While not part of that deal with APSU, on May 4 it was announced that SS&E has signed a multi-year naming rights agreement on behalf of the Montgomery County Event Center in Clarksville, Tenn., with Clarksville-based F&M Bank. The site, which is now known as the F&M Bank Arena, will host the men’s and women’s basketball teams from Austin Peay State University. Construction continues at the downtown F&M Bank Arena site of First Street and College Street in Clarksville. Land was inaugurated on the facility in November 2020, and the site is slated to open during the 2022-2023 season under the direction of SS&E.

In addition to hosting the APSU basketball programs, the F&M Bank Arena will also contain luxury suites, high-end seating, a private reception area, party rooms and common areas that will have full access to the arena bowl. In addition to the facility’s main and flexible event space, the multi-level venue will feature a separate ice sheet that will be used for youth and adult hockey leagues as well as figure skating, allowing the Predators to continue their mission to expose and grow hockey to more residents of Middle Tennessee. The place will welcome around 6,000 fans for concerts; 5,500 for basketball games; and 5,000 for hockey games.
