The site, which is now known as the F&M Bank Arena, will host the men’s and women’s basketball teams from Austin Peay State University. Construction continues at the downtown F&M Bank Arena site of First Street and College Street in Clarksville. Land was inaugurated on the facility in November 2020, and the site is slated to open during the 2022-2023 season under the direction of SS&E.
In addition to hosting the APSU basketball programs, the F&M Bank Arena will also contain luxury suites, high-end seating, a private reception area, party rooms and common areas that will have full access to the arena bowl. In addition to the facility’s main and flexible event space, the multi-level venue will feature a separate ice sheet that will be used for youth and adult hockey leagues as well as figure skating, allowing the Predators to continue their mission to expose and grow hockey to more residents of Middle Tennessee. The place will welcome around 6,000 fans for concerts; 5,500 for basketball games; and 5,000 for hockey games.
