Spice 2.0 opens at International Mall
Spice 2.0 is now open at the ever-sprawling International Plaza. The dining options at our local shopping and dining destination continue to impress. Steps from the new ice cream cart is an upscale Indian restaurant and bar experience. The owners of Spice 2.0 say the restaurant is inspired by the grandeur of Indian festivals and weddings.
This is the restaurant’s second location – they operate another award-winning restaurant in Westchase. It was named Tampa magazine’s Best Indian Restaurant in 2021 and 2022, and could make it a net year three times. Spice Kitchen is family-owned and operated, and their goal is to bring “the authentic flavors of North Indian cuisine from our hometown of New Delhi” to Tampa.
Gourmet Indian cuisine comes to the International Mall
Many vegan options abound on the menu. Tandoori Paneer Tikka Pizza is one of the most popular dishes on the menu, an Indian flavored pizza made with naan bread, paneer, peppers, onions and grape tomatoes. The Keema Frankie is also a wonderful start, cooked and spiced ground lamb wrapped in a flaky flatbread, served with a mint sauce. Okra fries and veggie-filled cocktail samosas are also go-to light bites.
If you visit Spice 2.0 with a group of lare, be sure to indulge in the Bread Basket with Garlic Naan, Buttery Naan, Masala Kulcha, and Lachha Parantha. The main menu offers a wide variety of shared plates such as lamb curry, palak paneer and the sensational prawn and mango masala.
Spice 2.0 serves up some of Tampa’s best desserts
Save room for dessert as Gulabjamun is on the menu. This dessert features sweet flour dumplings dipped in flavored sugar syrup. Add a scoop of ice cream for the perfect summer treat.
Spice 2.0 is located at 2223 N Westshore Blvd. You can also visit it at Westchase at 11653 Countryway Blvd. Reservations are available online.
