For animals – the taree saleyards are open for emergency stock movement – there are a number of working paddocks and some hay stores, thanks to local land services. The residents of #HallidaysPoint know that the weather has caused significant damage to the #BlackHead Road project site. Crews have made the area as safe as possible, but given the still humid weather, the site will be subject to severe potholes until the weather clears and permanent repairs can be made. Please avoid the area if possible, slow down and drive up to conditions. Our SES, Emergency and Consulting teams are pushed to the limit. Again, be careful on our roads – don’t travel unnecessarily – and never enter flood waters. Please be patient, there is a range of emergency services working together to keep this information up to date, but things are changing quickly.
