Press release: Heartland

Heartland, working with MARAC (its auto finance division), has streamlined its auto loan offering with a new online app, allowing customers to apply for auto finance where they want, when they want.

Heartland’s auto loan application can be completed on mobile or desktop in an average of three minutes – the customer will get a preliminary decision on the spot. For many clients, there is no need to call or meet with bank staff to get initial approval, as document verification usually takes place behind the scenes.

Once approved, customers can approve one of Heartland’s Authorized MARAC dealers to purchase a new car – or if buying privately, Heartland can pay the seller directly.

“We want to make it easier for our customers to apply for financing,” said Darryl Harnett, Head of Motor at Heartland. “This offering is the latest in a growing list of online loan applications that Heartland has created to meet the increasingly digital needs of customers. “

“Heartland’s ability to deliver digital solutions to customers is the product of the expertise of our various teams,” added Chris Flood, CEO of Heartland Bank. “This new offering leverages Heartland’s digital aspirations and capabilities with over 65 years of MARAC vehicle finance experience.”

Heartland’s website also includes an interactive calculator that allows customers to see what their refunds might look like before making a claim.
